A Curated Collection
My True Ireland is a curated collection, not an open marketplace.
Every maker and product featured on the platform is reviewed against standards designed to protect authenticity, quality, and meaningful connection to Ireland.
We are particularly drawn to work that could only have come from Ireland, whether through its materials, inspiration, story, or sense of place.
Our goal is not to feature the largest number of products. Our goal is to feature the right products.
Non-Negotiable
Made in Ireland
All products must be made in Ireland.
This is non-negotiable. My True Ireland exists to celebrate and promote Irish craftsmanship, and products manufactured outside Ireland are not eligible for inclusion.

Every product must be made in Ireland by an Irish-based business, but beyond that, we consider the quality of the work and the strength of its connection to Ireland.
We prioritise authenticity over volume and quality over quantity.
Protecting the Collection
What We Don’t Feature
Authenticity matters more than symbolism.
- Imported products marketed as Irish
- Mass-produced tourist merchandise
- Generic novelty souvenirs
- Products with little or no meaningful connection to Ireland
- Products that rely solely on Irish stereotypes for their appeal
A shamrock alone does not make a product Irish.
